LAGAKOS ALEX

Alex is a co-founder of Greek Energy Forum, having served as Chairman (2013-2017) and Vice Chairman (2017-present).

Today, he is the Chief Operating Officer of Blue Grid, a downstream LNG supplier based in Greece and active within the Balkan region and the Eastern Mediterranean.

In the past, he has held the positions of Freight Trader and Market Strategist (Thenamaris Ships Management), Senior Gas Analyst and Business Developer (Shell Energy Europe), Risk Analyst (Gazprom) and Energy Economics Consultant (Mott MacDonald).

Alex is a member of the UN Gas Experts of United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE). He holds an MEng in Electrical Engineering (Aristotle University of Thessaloniki) and an MSc in Sustainable Energy Futures (Imperial College London).
